Primary Elections 2010

We had our candidates forum a few weeks back.  Don’t forget to go out an vote on Tuesday.
PRIMARY ELECTION - JUNE 1, 2010
After the “more” I am providing some quick links to voting information, including how to find out who your state legislative representatives are.  Also some important voter registration deadlines.
Oh, and thanks to Amber Ladner, candidate for Circuit Judge, for explaining the meaning of the places in the judicial elections.  I think it is kind of fascinating in that the explanation involves exactly the meaning and reference distinction.  Anyway, I won’t go into that here.

Alabama polling places are open from 7 AM to 7 PM. Please note that polling places
located in the Eastern Time Zone are open 7 AM to 7 PM Eastern Time.

According to
http://www.alabama.gov/sliverheader/Welcome.do?url=http://sos.alabama.gov/Elections/Default.aspx

Which also has a bunch of other nice information about voting, including the rules regarding voter identification.

Here is a link to the Alabama Secretary of State site that will let you find your polling place:
