Review of the Media Panel

By review, I mean just my summary of what went on.  I will try to return to some issues as I have time.  So far, I would like to know more about the Preserve Development in Hoover, and I am trying to be interested in the LL trial.

Invisible Children

Here’s what young dems at our high schools are up to - they’re working to help enslaved child soldiers in Uganda by being abducted themselves. 3 pm Saturday, April 25th at 13th St. & University Blvd.
They’ll move to a camp and write letters to legislators urging them to do something. They won’t leave until someone with influence makes a statement about releasing child soldiers.  This is democracy in action.

Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence

Alabama has the 5th highest gun death rate & the 3rd highest rate of gun homicide.  We have a President who supports stronger gun laws.  Whether it's finding supporters of common sense gun laws or making a visit to your representative's office, we need you.  It won't take much time to let your legislators know you support background checks on gun sales.  The Brady Campaign fights for sensible gun laws to protect you.
E-mail me if you’re interested in our efforts.
