Leadership

OTMDems is looking for its next generation of leaders.


At our regular January mtg, 1/27/09, the membership will vote on a proposed set of by-laws and elect a new executive committee to govern our group. 
The current executive committee (aka TLC) is therefore calling for volunteers and nominees for these important leadership positions now so that it may gauge their interest and fitness to serve.  If you would like to be considered for a post on the OTMDems Executive Committee, or to nominate someone else, please e-mail Barry Ragsdale at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  Your participation is crucial to our long-term viability, so if you won’t be attending any of the inaugural balls in our nation’s capital that night, we hope to see you at this important meeting!

These kinds of meetings are important in any organization. I hope that volunteers will appear and that the right persons will be chosen as leaders, maybe the year 2009 will bring some improvements along with the new leadership. I am interested in the results, maybe you will post them here as soon as you get them.
